What you'll be doing

• Assisting senior carpenters with a variety of tasks, including set out, external framing, internal framing, cladding, internal linings & feature timber work.
• Learning how to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications
• Developing skills in the safe and proper use of hand and power tools
• Participating in on-the-job training and attending vocational education classes to acquire your carpentry apprenticeship
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Passion for carpentry and a desire to learn and grow in the trades industry
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Commitment to completing your carpentry apprenticeship
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to work on construction sites and in various environments
